The Lake Parks Foundation would like to thank all of you that have contributed to our 2010 Annual Fund. Our "Double Your Impact" campaign was made possible through the generosity of an anonymous donor who matched first time donations made to the Lake Parks Foundation Annual Fund.
The Lake Parks Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 organization that supports the national award-winning Lake Metroparks park district. Special capital projects and educational programs, scholarships for children, exemplary hands-on exhibits and state-of-the-art facilities are examples of the support the Foundation provides.

Gifts to the Lake Parks Foundation can include but are not limited to:
- Memorials to others
- Trusts combining lifetime income benefits with philanthropy
- Bequests - in your will
- Donations of land and/ or historical property
- Life insurance policies naming the Lake Parks Foundation as a beneficiary
- Endowments to a park or program
Because of gifts given through the Lake Parks Foundation:
- Over 1000 children per year are awarded scholarships and camperships.
- Thousands of orphaned and injured animals are cared for at the nationally recognized state-of-the-art Kevin P. Clinton Wildlife Center at Penitentiary Glen Reservation before being returned to the wild.
- Educational exhibits at Farmpark provide hands-on learning experiences.
- Lake Metroparks conservation initiatives receive additional support through funding for natural resource projects.
